Dive Gathering

August 23 - 24, 2025. White Star Quarry and Gilboa Quarry, Ohio.

 

It’s been on your mind for some time now - pulling on your heavy rubber dive gear and slipping under the water's surface with like-minded dive buds. Whether you are a new recruit or a seasoned veteran, now is the time to consider signing on for the 2025 Dive Gathering. Join a unique team of rubber divers to explore the watery depths.

 

The 2025 Dive Gathering will take place at two Ohio Quarries!

 

White Star Quarry White Star Quarry is a large quarry with varying depths up to 60 feet and has a large number of interesting underwater features to explore. The quarry is located south-east of Toledo in Gibsonburg Ohio. For location, quarry maps, camping, and full details about the quarry visit their website in the link below. Entry fees: $20 per diving day. Parking is free within the quarry grounds. Air fills: air and nitrox fills are offered on Saturdays and Sundays only at the quarry. Those wishing to dive this quarry on Friday and Monday should plan to have filled air tanks before-hand. Visit www.whitestarquarry.com for more details.   Gilboa Quarry Gilboa Quarry is the best inland place for scuba diving in Midwest USA. It is a 14+ acre limestone quarry located in north-west Ohio. There are wooded campgrounds encompassing over half the quarry’s perimeter.  Gilboa is an excellent location for both recreational diving and dive training. The quarry provides two distinct personalities: the warm shallow side has easy dock entrances, is filled with many underwater attractions, and has a maximum 65 ft depth which is perfect for great recreational enjoyment. The 21st annual Dive Gathering offers the chance to bring and dive your favorite gear, meet new dive buddies or refresh old acquaintances, and experience the fellowship of like-minded dive enthusiasts. The “Gathering” also offers the chance to dive 2 unique Ohio quarries. It should be remembered that this event is for “like-minded rubber dive enthusiasts only”, so be prepared to bring and dive your own equipment. Please have your proof of diver certification for diving at the quarries.
